Sacred life written by Leon Pinelo and published in Madrid in 1653. The aparato (table of contents) reveals the structure of a conventional hagiography. Leon Pinelo’s work served as a model to other texts written later on the occasion of the beatification (1679) and canonization (1726). The printing also includes a recorded portrait of the saint, bishop of the City of Kings, Lima.
