JSTOR Early Journal Content is a selection of journal materials published prior to 1923 in the United States and prior to 1870 elsewhere. It includes discourse and scholarship in the arts and humanities, economics and politics, and in mathematics and other sciences – nearly 500,000 articles from more than 200 journals. They were uploaded to the Internet Archive in 2013.

Harvard University: has more than 270 thousand books catalogued by themes and languages.

The John Adams Library at the Boston Public Library: is of great interest for historians and philologists. It is one of the largest collections of Latin literature, philosophy history science and theology. Deposit of the Boston Public Library since 1894, the John Adams Library includes over 2,700 volumes collected by the second president during his lifetime (1735-1826) as well as hundreds of additional books later donated by his family members. One of the greatest private collections of its day, the Adams Library remains one of the largest original early American libraries still intact. This remarkable collection of 3,510 books spans the fields of classics, literature, history, politics, government, philosophy, religion, law, science, mathematics, medicine, agriculture, language and linguistics, economics, and travel.

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill: Contains specialized repositories by Hispanic American countries (Argentina, Chile, Cuba, Mexico and Venezuela) as well as a collection of Hispanic Theatrical Texts.

La Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale di Firenze: Has more than 40 titles with an outstanding sample of classical Greco-Roman literature, as well as studies of Romanesque philology.

Pontifical Institute of Medieval Studies de la Universidad de Toronto: offers almost 10 thousand copies of books and critical studies, with specialized manuals in classical languages as texts about paleography.
