Macazana Galdos
Ivonne Macazana holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from the Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal and a Master’s degree in Art History and Curatorship from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. She is a member of the research lines in Digital Humanities and Peruvian Viceroyalty Philosophy of the research group Estudios Indianos of the Universidad del Pacífico/Universidad de Navarra, and a collaborating member in Instituto Riva-Agüero PUCP. Her areas of interest focus on the Peruvian viceroyalty, the history of the Church and the textual and artistic heritage of that period. As a researcher and paleographer, she has participated in the enhancement of bibliographic and documentary heritage in institutions such as the Biblioteca Nacional del Perú, the Universidad Antonio Ruiz de Montoya, the Universidad del Pacífico and the Museo de los Descalzos. She is currently part of the team of researchers in Paisajes peruanos project. Additionally, she participates in historical library and archive management initiatives and digital humanities projects.
