Memories of the Viceroys who have governed Peru) (Volume IV)
At the end of the government of a Viceroy, this authority prepared a memorial in which he reported on the events lived in the kingdom during his administration, the possibilities that could be exploited in the future, among other matters. The aim was that the new Viceroy could learn this first-hand information, in such a way, that he could take advantage of the experience of the last government. This incredible source for political and social history was compiled by Manuel Atanasio Fuentes in the nineteenth century and is currently available on Internet.
Volume IV: dedicated to the Virreyes José Antonio Manso de Velasco, conde de Superunda, and, Manuel Amat y Yunient, caballero de la Orden de San Juan
